Dear Visitor,

9 to 5: The Musical is a hit!

9 to 5: The MusicalWith music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick,9 to 5, The Musical, is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s, this high-energy show with its jubilant score and easily relatable characters, is a hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the pre-cellphone, pre-internet, pre-em
ail era.

Pushed to the boiling point, three female co-workers concoct a plan to get even with their sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigoted boss. In an outrageous turn of events, the three women gain the upper hand and, while
the boss is unavailable at the office – he’s “all tied up” – the women give
their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that has always kept them down.

Performances: November 16-24
All ticket prices are: $23.00 and include all taxes, ticket fees and Music Hall Improvement Fund.

It doesn’t really matter whether Jeff Martin is fronting The Tea Party or going it solo in an intimate venue - one thing is for sure you’re going to get one hell of an experience…!

- Rob Lyon, Hi-Fi Way: The Pop Chronicles

Jeff Martin, lead singer and guitarist of the iconic Canadian band, The Tea Party, hit the road last June for a series of solo acoustic dates across Southern and Eastern Australia and is making a stop in Uxbridge on Friday November 30th.
